WW1 Original M1858 Austrian Cavalry sword. Steel stirrup hilt with contoured shagreen covered wood grip. Heavy single fullered steel blade, signed on ricasso, "L. ZIETLER WEIN", reverse with inspection stamp and "15". Blade ferrule marked "4J". Steel scabbard with single static suspension ring and throat with matching mark, "4J". Blade measures 30.35" Losses to shagreen grip cover, wear consistent with age and use.
