Pre-Columbian, Guerrero, Mexico, Mezcala style, ca. 300 BCE. A string carved, deep grey-green stone depicting a standing anthropomorphic figure. The ancient artisans in this region were particularly adept at reducing the human body to simple, eloquent forms. Size: 2" W x 5" H (5.1 cm x 12.7 cm)
