Circa 1950, midcentury clock with singing bird manufactured by E.Schmeckenbecher,Germany, a famous cuckoo clock maker. Clock has a green painted metal body with fancy brass dial & 4 spoke legs with ball feet, a bird cage with movable bird inside mounted on top, bird turns its head and chirps on hour and 1/2 hour. Hourly chirps reflect the hour (8 chirps for 8 oclock and so forth), one chirp for half hour, movement marked "E.
