This is an original family owned lot. Provenance of the doll "Ruth" and bed: "Hattie Wadsworth gave Ruth to (Mother) Mildred Daniels Bray in December 1896. Her original china head was broken and in 1934 Mother bought an old head to fit the original kid body. The bed she sleeps in was made about 1970 for Grandfather Bray's sister Lucy by the ship's carpenter. Her Aunt Lucy was traveling with her husband (who was Captain of the ship). Grandmother Bray gave it to me when I was very little, around 1925. In the fall of 1935, I pieced the little quilt for the bed and Mother quilted it". Condition: doll's head is taped down to body. Paint is irregular on face. Left arm is detached from the body. Bed is 12" L x 8" W and comes with mattress, sheet, (2) pillows, quilt. Overall condition: this lot is being sold AS IS.
