Lot 0043
A large Qing Dynasty pottery jar formed from red clay with a wide mouth and covered in a thick, crackled, dark teal-colored glaze. A brown glaze with black specs coats the interior. These utilitarian jars were originally used to hold oil or household goods, and now make colorful and attractive accent pieces. Minor chips to the mouth’s rim but otherwise excellent condition with cracks. DIMENSIONS: 7 ¾” high (19.5 cm) x 9” diameter (22.8 cm).
