Details: 1875 antique Lane Brothers Swift Mill coffee grinder.

This handsome, well preserved antique coffee mill stands 14" tall by approx. 9" wide. Black cast iron construction, with one wheel operation. Swiveling lid over grinding chamber, removable ground coffee box, a opening blade servicing door on back. Wheel shows raise maker's marks that read,"The Swift Mill, Lane Brothers, Poughkeepsie, NY." The body of the mill reads, "Patent Feb 9 1875."

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items over the next few months.
