Details: 5Pcs. This lot comprises Antique Thermoplastic Union Cases with 19th Century Images of Civil War Era Soldiers and People.

A variety of sizes, these cases measure between approx. 1 3/4" by 2" to 2 1/2" by 3". Each contain an antique image of a soldier or citizen. Interior of cases have velvet cushioned lid, and brilliant metallic frame with glass covering the images. Various manufacturers. Exterior adornments are a variety of patterns or scenes, please see associated images. One Sixteenth-plate box, and 4 Ninth-plate boxes.

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items over the next few months. Condition / Notes: These Union Cases show nicely, with mild to moderate wear and age, with the exception of one box that has a broken corner.
