The pistol case has several compartments, lined with purple velvet. It contains an antique brass powder flask and antique small caliber bullet mold.
One antique smelting ladle is marked, "Monroe's Patent June 14 1864" and measures 15" in length. It has a spouted cast iron ladle on an iron rod with wooden handle.
One antique smelting ladle is 16" in length, with a smaller spouted cast iron ladle cup on an iron rod with wooden handle.
This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York.
