Details: This lot consists of a Civil War Veterans ladder badge or shield for Company H of the 117 New York Volunteer Infantry mounted on blue felt in a wooden shadow box. The four bar badge has a soldered pin clasp.

Badge measures 2" x 2.5". Box frame measures 4.75" W x 6.75" H x 1.5" D.

This lot is from the estate of a well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items over the next few months. Condition / Notes: This items is in excellent condition, very well preserved, and shows signs of normal period wear that may include patina, abrasions, rust and soiling. Very little surface soiling to the fronts. Letters are filled with black that has very little chipping.
