Details: 54Pcs This lot consists of a 52-piece playing card set and an intact Civil War Chess Set from The National Historical Society.
The cards are printed on rough thick paper. The design features double courts, no numbering, and a pink background with red pattern. The ace of spades card bears an empty scroll printed along the top and the words "DIEU POR TOUS" in a scroll at the bottom. Underneath that, "MANUFACTURED IN BELGIUM". Cards each measure approximately 2.4" x 3.5".
The chess set consists of a wooden box with a blue and gray playing board engraved into the top and 32 pieces inside. Set also comes with a box containing a certificate from The National Honor Society and booklets printed by The Franklin Mint describing the pieces. This commemorative item is copyrighted to 1983. Set measures 12.6" x 12.6" x 2.25". Certificate box measures 4" x 5".
