No. 1: Vintage Dane Stoddard model 'Maine Special' feather-light split bamboo fly rod. Made in Boston, MA. 3/2 configuration, 37" segments, 111" overall length. One of the tips appears to have been repaired. Generally well maintained ferrules and clean red windings. All guides are intact/solid. Reverse wells cork handle, slip ring on metal reel seat. Includes aluminum storage tube.
No. 2: Vintage Southbend Doublebuilt Model 194 HDH or D 9' split-bamboo fly rod. 3/2 configuration with a reverse wells cork handle, chromed ferrules. Measures 37" sections, 111" overall, with two tip sections included. Intact guide windings do show moderate age and wear. Includes aluminum storage tube.
No. 3: Vintage Horrocks Ibbotson 'Ranger' HI Power Glass No. 1220 fly rod. Measures 34" sections, 102" overall. 3/1 configuration. Black alloy ferrules, brown-tone fiberglass, straight cigar cork handle, screw locking rod seat. Marked, "Custom built" on blank, still has plastic wrapping on cork. Appears unused. Include aluminum storage tube.
