Oil painting on wood. People at prayer at the Western Wall. On the bottom left corner is an engraved stamp Goupil & Cie, the sponsor company for many of the works of the famous French painter Jean-Leon Germome. The picture before us appears to be of a student of his artistic style, and perhaps is even a work by Germome himself.Â
