A nearly identical example of this gun can be found on page 15 in the book "Webley Solid Frame Revolvers Models RIC, MP & No. 5" by Black, Davis and Michaud. It is a six shot, double action with blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Has an octagon barrel; top strap is stamped "Old Hall St Liverpool". Winged bullet on both side of frame and numerous Birmingham proofs. Finish is basically soft brown patina. Indexes perfectly. Strong, clean bore.
