This is a charming sterling silver box, circa 1880. Originally a compact or rouge pot this piece can easily double as a pill box or ring box for the modern day. Inside is the original mirror, which still functions incredibly well despite its age. The box also features a jump ring, which could easily hang off of a chain or keychain. There is a bright-cut floral motif around the brim of the top, all hand etched. There is also a wreath surrounding an unmarked cartouche which is ready to be engraved! There is a slight indentation, (which is hardly noticeable), just below the opening. Otherwise, the piece is in perfect condition. The box is a little over a half inch deep and about 1 5/8 inches across. This piece weighs approximately 31.68 grams, or 1.01 troy ounces. This attractive piece would make a wonderful gift or lovely addition to your silver collection.Domestic: Flat-rate of $9.95 to anywhere within the contiguous U.S.International: Foreign shipping rates are determined by destination.Location: This item ships from California.
