The wonderful bowl is made from solid sterling silver. It is marked on the bottom with the Gorham hallmark STERLING A5732 (PATTERN NUMBER) MONTGOMERY BROS Key (date mark for 1906). This beautiful large bowl has a very intricate pattern of acanthus leaves and curled waves of foliage on the rim and a lattice pattern underneath that make up the open sides. The bottom of this magnificent bowl has a star burst pattern radiating out to the rim. In the center of the bowl it is monogrammed with a lavish Gothic font capital letter S. Classic Art Nouveau style and design. This gorgeous bowl stands 2 inches tall and is 10 inches wide.
