A married dai-sho by Sendai Kiyosada, as per Robert Haynes. 7.58 cm x 7.13 cm x 5.1 mm / 7.76 cm x 7.31 cm x 4.2 mm. These are his classic gunbai fans with gold wire inlay. Kiyosada worked in Sendai 1781 - 1789, and later moved to Edo. Ref. Haynes, H 03323.0. His painting teacher was Masamura Shichiemon, and he studied metal working with the Omori family. He opened the Kusakari shop in Sendai, which was carried on by his sons. Boxed.
