Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A delightful standing turtle with a low-pitched whistle in the mouth. Lightly incised lines give texture to the shell edges and applied discs form bulging eyes. Size: 3.85" L x 2.45" W x 2.5" H (9.8 cm x 6.2 cm x 6.4 cm)
