With a stunning color plate of Emily Bronte on the frontis page. Brown cloth boards are rubbed a tad, bookplate on inside cover, foxing heavier on inside cover and ffep, very scattered on interior. Comes w/ a letter from Philadelphia banker Moncure Biddle addressed to Edwin Wolf at The Rosenbach Company where he waxes on the "charm and lilt in Bronte's translation".
