1826 Fine Heraldic Binding Set Life of Sir Francis Bacon
A nicely bound ten-volume set of "The Works of Francis Bacon, Baron of Verulam, Viscount of St. Alban, and Lord High Chancellor of England", printed at London for C. and J. Rivington (and others), 1826. The leather bindings have been restored and polished, each volume with gold embossed Coat of Arms, a few fine with many of the impressions rubbed. Fine condition. Speckled fore edges. Internally Fine with volume one having an engraving of Bacon. Each volume measures 5.5 x 9".
