Two Neoclassical-Style Painted Mirrors

including a Directoire trumeau mirror, ca. 1800, with giltwood trim on an ivory ground, the side panels with torch trophees, the painting depicting a harbor scene, h. 43-3/4", w. 26-3/4", and an English tabernacle mirror in the Adam style, second quarter 20th century, painted pale green, the upper molded plaque decorated with putti, h. 40", w. 26".

Condition

On the trumeau mirror, the molding at the top has been re-nailed, which has caused a section of it to partially split/crack. The image of the harbor is not a painting as stated in the description, but a print. Both mirrors are in overall good condition, and exhibit minor nicks and scratches (mostly to edges), which are to be expected with age and use.
