Civil War era cartridge boxes and tins. Including 2 leather cartridge boxes, one is embossed "US" on the flap, opening to interior flaps, stamped "E. METZGER PHILA", and "H. H. HARTZELL U.S ORD. DEPT. SUB INSPECTOR", and the other with "US" brass plaque on the flap, opening to interior flaps. Together with 2 pouch tins, and 1 tin in battlefield condition. Both leather boxes show wear commensurate with age and use; discoloration to brass; one pouch is missing a buckle. Up to 8" wide. Five items total. ESTIMATE $300-500
