A. Grubbs Patent Aplanatic Landscape Lens, No. 3631, c. 1864
A milestone in the history of landscape lenses, developed c. 1858 by Thomas Grubb, Dublin, and described by him as an "aplanatic landscape lens". Collapsible front tube with a supplementary tube for washer stops. Height: approx. 56 mm, lens: Ø approx. 46 mm, focal length: approx. 15 cm.

Ein Meilenstein in der Entwicklung der Landschaftsobjektives war das um 1858 von Thomas Grubb, Dublin, entwickelte und von ihm als "aplanatisches Landschaftsobjektiv" bezeichnete Objektiv.
