Lot 0054 Details
WWII Soviet Tokarev SVT-40 semi-automatic rifle with serial number OK548 . Chambered for the full-power 7.62x54R cartridge, the SVT-40 was a fairly successful gas operated design. These saw much front-line service with Russian forces and were also popular with the Germans and Finns when they could capture them. Condition: The bolt carrier and bolt do not match the receiver; the trigger guard DOES match the receiver. Both cleaning rod catch and cleaning rod are missing. Rifle was manufactured at the Tula Arsenal in 1941. This rifle appears to have seen fairly heavy use but does not appear to be one of the more recently overhauled imports as there are NO import markings or eletro-pencil force matched parts. NOTE: This item is subject to FFL rules, regulations, & procedures. A $25 fee will be charged at Tobey's Pawn Shop in Charlottesville, VA. for local transactions, other fees may apply if purchased for other localities.
