Inlaid mahogany case with bonnet having broken arch top with turned rosette terminals, central inlaid plinth in satinwood, ebony and burl in geometric design, ebony and satinwood string inlay, tombstone door with original turned pull, flanked by unusual ogee columns, fretwork cut-outs at sides. Waist with overlapping cross-banded thumb molded door with string inlay, panel above with more geometric matching that above in pediment, ebony and satinwood string around door, cove molding above and below. Base with crotch grain mahogany with string inlay, on nice delicate ogee bracket feet, pine secondary wood in original old varnish finish, 19 1/2 x 10 3/4 x 86 1/4" high.
