Central Asia, India, Nasik-Sagar region, ca. 19th to 20th century CE. A rectangular silver amulet with a gilded decorated surface and a loop for suspension. The gilded design shows a sensual goddess with a zoomorphic head, perhaps representing Pratyangira, the lion-headed goddess of Hinduism. (6.70 g) Size: 1" W x 1.45" H (2.5 cm x 3.7 cm)
