This is an adorable Continental Silver Box, it is decorated with children playing musical instruments led by a flying rooster. It is done in a French manner with bows and swags and musical instruments in a repeating pattern in the panels around the box sides. It opens via a hinge and the interior is gold washed. It measures 3 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 1 5/8" and weighs 3 troy oz. The lid fits very well and it is in excellent condition. This is a great little box that can hold a variety of things.
