DESCRIPTION: A dore bronze mantel clock set by Philippe H. Mourey. Features two Sevres porcelain urns with handpainted cobalt blue base color and rendering of cherubs grasping strings of flowers. The urns are further embellished with hand painted floral motif and gilded trims. Urns are finished with gilded bronze decoration along the acorn motif finials, scrolled rococo handles, and a center cherub flanked by strings of roses. Rests on four feet decorated with matching porcelain floral motif. The clock is topped by an urn with arching handles and topped by acorn motif finial. Flanked by two tiger heads with rings in their jaws. Urn sits atop the heavy gilded bronze base embellished with fruits, foliage, and winding strings of flowers enveloping the clock with handpainted Sevres porcelain dial with cobalt hue and gilded accents. Each piece is signed :"PH. Mourey".

CONDITION: Good condition. One urn is missing a side finial along the handle. Clock is missing glass cover and door on the back covering the movement. Key is present and clock ticks when wound.
