DESCRIPTION: An antique signed plaque of a miniature portrait of a French monarch wearing elegant jewels along her head and chest and she poses in a dimly lit setting. Signed illegibly along the bottom right as well as dated what appears to be 1813 although the last two digits are slightly illegible. Signed on back of the plaque illegibly, although the firt name appears to be "Marie", uncertain. Set in a dore bronze frame with strings of lilies and a crossed quiver of arrows and bow along the top. Finished with a floral motif embroidery enveloping the portrait.
