Near East, Iran/Persia, ca. 18th to 19th century CE. A brightly colored, pretty ceramic bowl, deep-sided, glazed everywhere but the foot. The glaze has a creamy background color, with fish circling the interior, created using thin brown outlines and thicker blue and green interior paint. The exterior has a wide, cross-hatched pattern using these same colors. A cheerful, charming addition to any collection. Size: 7.1" W x 3.1" H (18 cm x 7.9 cm)
