**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, ca. 0 to 1000 CE. A lovely grouping of twenty-four terracotta spindle whorls strung in necklace form on a strand of natural fibers. Each spindle whorl has finely incised details, mostly abstract geometric designs, and the beads themselves are in discoid, triangular, and corseted vessel forms. Necklace is wearable as shown. Size of largest spindle whorl: 1" L x 1" W (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm); Size of necklace: 9.75" H (24.8 cm).
