RIBBED IVY TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, colorless lead glass, comprising two open compotes on low standards with scalloped rims, leaves without veins, and a covered sugar bowl. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Third quarter 19th century. 8 1/2" HOA sugar, 3 3/4" H 7 1/4" D compote rims.
Compotes each with some scattered flaking to the base edge and minor interior wear, sugar cover undamaged with the base having post-production polishing to the sides of the rim scallops.
Provenance: Estate collection of Wagner P. Thielens.
Catalogue Note: These compotes were create by expanding the sugar base mold.

Condition
