CIRCLE AND ELLIPSE PAIR OF VASES, amethyst, small size, each with a short conical bowl with a gauffered six-petal rim, raised on a hexagonal double-knop stem and flared foot, single-piece construction. New England. 1850-1870. 7 1/2" H, 3 1/2" DOA rims, 3 3/4" DOA bases.
One with a moderate chip to the rim and a minute flake to one base point, other with a flake to two based points; each with heavy crizzling.

Condition
