LEE/ROSE NO. 194 CUP PLATE, light green, octagonal with seven even scallops between corners, egg in each corner scallop. Common (see note). Probably Midwestern. 1840-1860. 3" D.
Virtually proof with only one lightly tipped scallop and a few minute top-rim flakes.

Catalogue Note: This is only the second example of this plate that we have sold which would seem to indicate that it is much rarer than indicated in AGCP.
