Lot 1945
LEE/ROSE NO. 440-B CUP PLATES, LOT OF TWO, gray blue and medium blue with "ink spots" and striations, 24 large scallops with smaller pairs between. Rare and probably very rare. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1850. 3 1/2" D.
Near proof, each with two or three lightly tipped large scallops and a few tipped small scallops. Gray blue example with faint annealing check to shoulder not affecting the resonance, as made.
