A George IV 18ct gold enamel memorial ring. Designed as a rectangular glass panel containing hair, to the black enamel surround and floral textured surround and shoulders. Hallmark for London, 1823. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 4.6gms.

Condition

The condition of this lot is fair, with general surface wear and scratches to the gold and enamel in keeping with age and wear. The enamel has light chips to the edge. Engraving to the inner band reads 'Mrs Sarh Maria Stafford, Ob 28 Apl 1824 at 28'.
