This is a solid, well made sterling silver Danish style porringer nut dish by Herbst & Wassall, a silversmith out of New York and New Jersey known for being makers of sterling and gold novelties and jewelry from 1903-1931. This dish is c. 1920's. Measurements are approximately 3-7/8"L (including the handle) x 2-7/8W x 1/2" T. Weight is ~1.7 ounces troy. Marked STERLING, Herbst & Wassall trademark, and 200D. They are a few dark spots in the bowls.
