A beautiful Austrian-made, engine turned case made of 900 Silver circa 1880. The case has an interior gold wash and was once a stylish accessory for a gentleman who used it to carry small-sized cigarettes. It is marked 900 silver in the interior. The case has great spring action, and is in great working condition. It could be used as a card case, or to hold small items. It measures approximately 3 x 2 inches and is 1/4 of an inch in thickness. The engine turned work is really nice, and there are minimal scratches on the surface, which is normal for its age. Along the edge where the case opens there is a beautifully articulated leaf and flower design. This case shows some incredible craftsmanship, which you do not see today and on any silver work. A beautiful gift for a man or a woman, a distinguished and elegant personal object to own.Domestic: Flat-rate of $11.95 to anywhere within the contiguous U.S.International: Foreign shipping rates are determined by destination.Location: This item ships from California
