**First Time At Auction**

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A slender and attractive mold-made vessel that features a raised ring base with recessed center, steep sloped bottom with sharply-angled sides, a narrow wick spout with a raised dot pattern, a small fill hole, a petite tab thumb rest, and flat shoulders showing two raised bunches of grapes flanking either side of the fill hole. Size: 4.375" L x 2.5" W x 1.25" H (11.1 cm x 6.4 cm x 3.2 cm).

Provenance: private Orange County, California collection, acquired before 2000
