Pictorial Library, Round The World. A Story of Travel, c.1881. By D. Murray Smith, author of “Karl-of-the-Locket and his Three Wishes”. London: T. Nelson & Sons, Paternoster Row. Copyright: 1881. A pictorial library of travel and adventure compiled from the narrative of Ida Pfeiffer with Thirty Five Engravings. Hardcover in red cloth with decorated border and gilt title on cover and spine, frontispiece. It comes with plastic cover protection. Condition: Very good with pages and binding intact, damp stain yellowing on some pages, owner’s inscription and dated 1882, pencil writing of price and year, corner, edges wear on covers.
