Sir John Fortescue was a 15th-century chief Justice of King’s Bench and the author of an important and influential treatise on English law ‘De Laudibus Legum Angliae’. This work was originally written around 1453 and was an instruction for young Prince Edward in the law field. It was reprinted many times over the next century under many different titles. This work discusses many aspects of English Law including:
