SIGNED INTERIOR SCENE WITH VERMEER PAINTING: 1995, Initialed on face, Acrylic on board painting depicting a woman peeling potatoes in a kitchen wearing maid attire, applied to this is a small painting after Johannes Vermeer's 17th century painting, The Milkmaid (Dutch: De Melkmeid or Het Melkmeisje). Both paintings are signed on the face, offered unframed, 24"h x 17"w.

PROVENANCE: Rare-Era.com is honored to represent this piece on behalf of Personalized Estate Liquidation Benefiting Youth, Inc. (P.E.L.). P.E.L. is a volunteer organization boasting 50 plus dedicated volunteers and experts. The company hosts gallery sales within their 9,400-square foot showroom facility in Sarasota, Florida. Sale proceeds generated at P.E.L support causes dedicated to at risk youth throughout Sarasota County, Florida. To date, their volunteers have given over $300,000 in educational scholarships and have raised over $1.2 million.
