Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. An elegant, hand-blown ancient glass double unguent of translucent spring green hues with areas of internal rainbow and silver iridescence. A wonderful example, most likely owned by a wealthy women of ancient Roman times who would have used it to contain precious oils, perfumes, or cosmetics for her toilette routine. Custom lucite stand.
