A mid Victorian 18ct gold diamond and split pearl memorial ring. The split pearl cluster, with old-cut diamond accents, to the textured and woven hair band. AF. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1866. Ring size I. Weight 3.6gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Majority of hair deficient.
  • Band slightly out of shape.
  • Split pearls are a grayish-cream colour, with rose and green overtones.
  • Moderate to significant nacre damage to pearls.
