From Thayer catalog #8 (1936): “The performer sets an alarm clock ringing and places it on a tray which is held by the assistant. Another assistant enters the opposite side of the stage with a tray on which is a large die, about 6 inches square. The performer calls attention to the position of the articles, fires a shot and the die and alarm clock visibly change places. …The change is so instantaneous and unexpected as to cause the audience to stare spellbound.” Beautifully made and stenciled. Original finish. Very rare.
