Thomas Crotty (American, 1934-2015): Marine landscape with white dingy, Oil on board, signed and dated.
Crotty was known for his highly realistic oil-on-canvas images of Maine, including vast winter scenes and sprawling seascapes. His paintings incorporated Maine’s natural light and beauty at all hours of the day and in all seasons. He was also the owner/director of the highly regarded Frost Gully Gallery in Portland and Freeport, ME.
