Description
Pair of 18th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze cloisonne enamel Flower Pots. Having flori-form body, straight side rising from a flat concave base, deep vessel with flared and flat banded rim. Each lobed panel decorated with centralized uptala, the night lotus blooms, interspersed by scrolling tendrils, surrounded with geometrical lattice pattern, all reserved against turquoise-blue ground. Each holds a fitted porcelain plant pot, in comforting shape resembling a lotus leaf, all reserved in olive green underglazed ground with lighter streaks glaze.
