A PAIR OF CIVIL WAR CASED TINTYPES. Comprising a 6th plate tintype depicting a seated Union enlisted man with cape draped over shoulder, wearing a kepi and with US belt plate and belt holding a unique revolver, contained in a thermoplastic case with inscribed card identifying the sitter as William P. Bickelhaupt Wisconsin 6th Infantry K.I.A. And another cased 6th plate tintype depicting a seated Union enlisted man holding two different types of revolvers and wearing a Hardee-style hat. Contained in a thermoplastic case with patriotic designs on cover. Together with a later (circa 1885) 6th plate tintype depicting two black men in fine attire and contained in an earlier pressed leather covered case.
