The back inscription identifies it as statue of three Maitreya Buddha, standing against a flaming mandorla. The central Buddha standing on a lotus pedestal which is further supported by a four-legged plinth. Inscription includes cyclical dating to year 441 and commissioned by Zhao Tong. H. 21cm (8 1/4 in.) Note: Comparable statue found at The British Museum, Museum number 1910,0616.1
