A Romano-Egyptian head of Harpokrates, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, wearing a large rolled diadem, his features soft and expressive, right finger held to his lip. H: 2 1/8 in (5.4cm). Mounted on a custom base. Ex collection of Howard Mathues, Philadelphia, acquired late 1950's - early 1960's.
