Description
A nice Greek Xenon-ware kylix, Magnia Graecia, c. 330 - 300 BC, the tondo with a pair of actors over a stamp consisting of four palmettes, all within a circle surrounded by a laurel-wreath. The vessel is beautifully potted with even black glaze. W: 8 in (20.3 cm). A lovely example! Ex Los Angeles private collection.
